Arrest warrant issued for Lexington shooting suspect

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Police Department says they are searching for a man wanted in connection with a shooting on Tuesday.

Detectives say they issued an arrest warrant for assault for 20-year-old Quadarius Rashad Wright of Lexington.

On January 9 at approximately 1:34 p.m., officers responded to the 2000-block of Daniel Court after getting a call about a person who had been shot while sitting in a car.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Detectives determined the victim and the suspect were acquaintances.
