Police charge man with evidence tampering in double murder case

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police have charged Rosario Diaz-Barraza with evidence tampering in connection to the double murder of Jose Olascoaga and Marco Antonio Tunai Ortiz.

Witnesses said they saw Diaz-Barraza at the possible scene of the murders, on the last day the two men were seen alive.

Police confirmed that through surveillance video.

Police say the cell phones of the two victims traveled with the personal cell phone of Diaz-Barraza at the time of the murders.

However, they have not been able to locate the cell phones.
