Coroner identifies victim of crash on New Circle Road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An Erlanger man is dead following an early-morning accident in Lexington.

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office says 26-year-old James Black died in the single-vehicle accident on the inner loop of New Circle Road near the Versailles Road ramp Tuesday.

Police say Black was driving his SUV at around 1:30 a.m. when it overturned, throwing him from the vehicle.

They believe fog may have been a factor in the accident.
