Lexington woman shoots intruder who said a man was chasing her
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A Lexington woman likely won’t face charges after shooting a woman who forced herself into a home.
According to Lexington police, a woman was in her bed at home when a woman knocked on the door and pleaded with her to let her inside.
She told the woman a man with a gun was chasing her.
Officers say the homeowner told the woman to wait outside, but instead she climbed inside through a window.
The homeowner reportedly shot the intruder.
She was taken to UK Hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
