Richmond Police: Traffic Stop Leads To Discovery Of Suspected Mobile Meth Lab
A traffic stop Friday afternoon led to the discovery of a possible mobile meth lab, two arrests and the shutdown of a section of Main Street in Richmond, according to Police.
Investigators said a possible meth lab was found in the floorboard of a vehicle following a traffic stop.
Police said an officer pulled over a vehicle with two women inside after noticing the driver wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
Police said that ultimately led to the discovery of the suspected meth lab.
A Hazardous Materials team was called-in to clean it up.
Main Street was closed between Aspen and Perrish Street.
The names of the two women taken into custody haven’t been released.
Main Street was reopened around 6:00 p.m.
