Berea College – Partners for Education
| Partners for Education is a program at Berea College where they help all of their Appalachian students succeed in school! Sherry Scott is the Director of Programs for Partners for Education at Berea College is here to share some strategies they use to help their students through their education process. The first thing they like to do is lift the educational aspirations by guiding them through their entire school experience. Next they like to make sure they are connected to college and career resources to help them make it all the way through college. They also like to partner with the families, business sectors, and higher education so the kids have access to multiple resources. The program helps 41,000 students in Appalachia area and has just recently started helping 10,000 students in Knox County!
