Mitchell gets contract extension

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Herald-Leader obtained UK women’s hoops head coach Matthew Mitchell’s new contract extension details via an open records request.

The head Wildcat will be retained through 2022, with a slight bump in pay of 5 percent per year, and he’s happy about all of that.
