LPD: Tow truck hits road workers
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Two road workers were injured Tuesday after being struck by a tow truck, according to Lexington Police.
Police say the two were putting down traffic cones on Clay’s Mill Road and Graviss Court at around 11 a.m. when the tow truck hit them.
Police could not say if the workers were out of the truck when the accident happened.
The two workers and the tow truck driver were all taken to the hospital. Police say at least one of them was suffering from head trauma.
The accident is under investigation.
