UPDATE: Person of interest in woman’s death arrested

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say they have found their person of interest in the death of a Richmond woman.

Richmond Police say they took 61-year-old Thomas “Gene” Mason into custody Tuesday night.

He’s charged with failure to appear and bond jumping.

Police found 52-year-old Tammy Masters Alexander in her apartment on Villa Drive on November 15, dead from a gunshot wound to the head.

On Tuesday afternoon, police announced Mason was a person of interest in the case.
