Louisville man faces murder after killing two-year-old

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man in Louisville faces murder charges for the death of a two-year-old.

Erin Smith-Spencer wasn’t little Ilena Harris’ father, but he was dating her mother.

On Wednesday, LMPD officers found Harris unresponsive. Police say 21-year-old Smith-Spencer killed her by hurting her head, face, torso, and legs while punishing her.
