Believing in Forever
Believing in Forever is nonprofit based out of Kentucky where they influence and get young children to express themselves through art, open mics, and in school mentoring programs. Their goal is to positively inspire younger children to take initiative and help others. They have started a coat drive, “A Coat to Keep the Cold Away” which was inspired by a child at the bus stop not having his coat on because his mom didn’t have the money to buy him one yet. This year they have grown and they have almost 3,000 requests for coats! They now have 800 coats and they are still working on receiving donations and spread the word about the organization. “A Coat to Keep the Cold Away” only takes new coats for health reasons and want the child to have that feeling of receiving a brand new coat.
Devine Carama, Artist & Director of Believing in Forever will be out in front of the court house where he will perform every hour on the hour for 24 hours to receive donations for “A Coat to Keep the Cold Away”. The event will take place Tuesday, November 21 at 9:00 to Wednesday, November 22 at 9:00.
They are currently taking online donations for their YOUTH COAT DRIVE via Paypal.com You can also donate by writing a check to Believing in Forever Inc.
