Sheriff: Man arrested after numerous drug complaints

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man was taken into custody after several neighbors in one Frankfort neighborhood complained about drug activity in the area.

Franklin County Sheriff Pat Melton says on Tuesday, deputies with a search warrant went to an apartment at 360 Wallace Avenue and arrested 46-year-old Larry Thomas Engler.

Melton says Engler’s apartment was not only a place where drugs were sold but also where drug users would go to use drugs.

Engler is charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, armed trafficking in 2 grams or less of crystal methamphetamine, armed possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest.
