Firefighters Called To Richmond Home Two Days In A Row
For the second day in a row, firefighters were called to a home in Richmond.
On Tuesday morning, they responded to the home on Virginia Avenue and found the back of the house on fire.
Then on Wednesday morning, they were called back because a fire broke out in the front of the home.
The Richmond Fire Department said the home is vacant and the owner uses it for storage.
They also said the fires are considered suspicious not only because they were back-to-back but because there is no electricity going to the home.
The fire department’s arson investigator was on the scene Wednesday morning.
An arson investigator with Kentucky State Police is also expected to be called in.
The Richmond Police Department is also expected to open an investigation into the fire.
