Woman shot several times in Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a young woman was shot multiple times Friday night around 8:30 p.m.

Deputies say someone shot 36-year-old Samantha Vega several times in the legs from outside her home.

Deputies have found the gun involved.

They say they have already interviewed a person of interest, but the shooting is still under investigation.
