Robbery suspect found hiding in garbage bin

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A Lexington robbery suspect has been caught in a rotten spot.

Police say 23-year-old Raymond Jones was hiding in a city garbage bin yesterday.

Officers found him minutes after a robbery he’s accused of committing.

Around 2:30 yesterday officers went to the Woodhill Drive Metro PCS in response to an armed robbery.

According to police, Jones took cell phones and other items.

They found those items later in a backpack inside a recycling bin.
