Fight leads to shots fired in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington Police say a fight turned into a shots fired call in Lexington Friday afternoon at the Coolavin Apartment Complex.

Witnesses told officers there was a fight between two groups of people and someone started shooting.

Officers found several shell casings in the area, but no gunshot victims nor any damage from bullets.

Police saw a man showed a few blocks away at Morrison and Broadway with injures that were not gun related. Officers say that man told them he was part of the fight at the apartments.
