LCSO: Man admits to stealing trailer

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a man admitted to stealing a trailer after being pulled over on I-75.

Deputies say the trailer was stolen from a car lot in southern Laurel County yesterday.  Last night deputies say they spotted the trailer along I-75 just south of London being pulled by a pickup truck driven by Carl J. Smith.

Investigators say Smith admitted to the theft after being pulled over and questioned.

He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center on a theft charge.
