Pilot dies in private plane crash outside Bardstown

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Investigators say the only person on board a private plane died in a crash just outside Bardstown.  

Investigators say the plane went down around 6:30 p.m. Thursday in a private field near a local airport.

Pilot John Hall died in the crash, according to investigators. 

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
