Officials: Former Kentucky First Lady Jane Beshear injured at Ky Horse Park

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky Horse Park officials have confirmed that Former Kentucky First Lady Jane Beshear was injured at the horse park.

Former Gov. Steve Beshear released this comment:

“Jane had a fall from her horse during a competition at the Kentucky Horse Park today and was taken to the UK emergency room to be checked out. While somewhat battered and bruised, there appears to be no serious injuries of any kind, and she is looking forward to being back on her horse in the very near future. We appreciate everybody who has inquired about her and wanted everybody to know she’ll be OK.”
