Lexington police officer charged with rape due in court
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Sergeant Christopher Morrow of the Lexington Police Department has been indicted with rape, according to police.
They say a complaint was filed against Sergeant Morrow in May. Kentucky State Police investigated that complaint, police said.
During the investigation, Morrow was suspended with pay, as per department policy.
After KSP’s investigation, Morrow was arrested and charged with one count of first-degree rape and suspended without pay.
According to police, Morrow bonded out of the Fayette County Detention Center on Tuesday.
He is due in court for arraignment Friday at 1 p.m.
