Franklin County Sheriffs Office captures second escapee in two days

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) –  According to Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies, Joseph Michael Wainscott was captured Tuesday in Franklin County on Michael Blvd.

Police say Wainscott was taken into custody without incident.

This is the second escapee Sheriffs Deputies have caught in the past two days.

Wainscott has been lodged in the Franklin County Regional Jail on a Federal Detainer, according to police.
