50th Anniversary of broken color barrier in SEC

LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) – Usually the way history works, you never get to meet the men and women they build statues to honor, but if you’re a solid blue fan you could meet a living legend this weekend.

On Saturday, the SEC is set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of former UK football player Nate Northington breaking the SEC color barrier on September 30,1967 against Ole Miss.
