Spoonbread Festival

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – It is the last weekend of summer and many are out enjoying the last bit of sun, some say it’s the perfect weather for the 21st annual spoonbread festival in Berea.

The festival is known for being family friendly and completely free to attend.

There is everything from food, vendors, rides, crafts and even live music.

The spoonbread communications specialist says people from all over Kentucky come to check it out.

And for those of you who don’t know what spoonbread is, it is corn bread made the souffle way, so soft you have to eat it with a spoon!
