EKU earns bye week before OVC play

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – Eastern Kentucky gets a bye week to rest up after playing back-to-back FBS programs to kick off the season.

WKU and UK both got wins, but the Toppers and Cats had to earn them.

The Colonels have come to play in 2017 and expect to open up OVC play with Tennessee Tech on the Saturday 23rd with a bang…as long as they limit the turnovers…something they failed to do against Kentucky in the second half last weekend.
