Man assaulted and robbed

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is struck with a gun and robbed in Lexington.

Police say it happened on West Sixth Street at around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The victim was approached by a man and a woman, who pulled a gun on him.

They hit him, took his wallet and cell phone then ran off.

The man suffered minor injuries, according to police.
