Suspected burglar strikes three apartments

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a burglar made his way through an apartment complex until he finally found something to steal.

The suspect, 42-year-old Larry Spicer was taken into custody on Tuesday and charged with three counts of burglary.

Court documents say Spicer broke into two apartments on Esplanade Drive and tried to steal flat screen televisions.

When he couldn’t get the televisions, police say he moved on to a third apartment and took a check book.

Documents say he was arrested when he tried to forge a check from that check book.
