Shooting in Lexington leaves one man dead

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A man is dead after a shooting Saturday morning in Lexington off of east Second Street.

Police say they were called to the scene just before 2:30 AM.

That’s when they found 35-year-old Steven Robinson Jr. lying on Eastern Avenue with a gunshot wound to the chest.

He was taken to UK Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Police are currently searching for a man in a red passenger car carrying a revolver.
