Crews rescue missing man in Winchester
WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Crews in Clark County battled fog and wet conditions in the wee hours of Friday morning to rescue a 78-year old missing man, according to authorities.
Investigators say he was last seen by his wife when he went out on an ATV on a farm around 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017.
He was reported missing around 8:30 p.m. the same day from Mountain View Lane and Scholsville Road in Winchester, according to officials.
Search and rescue crews found the man down a ravine on the farm near the ATV late Thursday night, according to fire officials.
He was rescued and sent to Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester.
His name and condition weren’t released.
