Motorcyclist involved in Saturday crash has died

ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)-An update now on a motorcycle crash in Estill County we first told you about Saturday night.

The county coroner says that the motorcyclist has died.

He was 61-year-old Michael Riddell.

Troopers say a truck hit his motorcycle Saturday afternoon on Highway 52 near Irvine.

Just before that, a trooper had to be cut out of his cruiser for a crash *he* was involved in on the same road.

That trooper was released from the hospital Saturday.
