Lexington apartment building catches fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An apartment building that was under renovation caught fire Thursday afternoon in Lexington, according to officials.

The fire happened in the 500 block of Hollow Creek Road just before 5 p.m.

According to the Lexington Fire Department, the apartment was not occupied but it did have electric.

Officials say it was a small fire between the second and third floor.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
