Families enjoy a “dive in movie” at Shillito pool

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Saturday was a great day to head to the pool, but adding a movie make pool time even better.

Lexington Parks and Rec estimates more than 400 people came out to see Moana.

And this truly was a “Dive in” movie.

People brought inner tubes.

The fun started at 8, but it was still so light outside they couldn’t get the movie going until later.

Meteorologist Elise Dolinar stopped out to Shillito Pool and spoke with movie and pool goers.

Elise talked with Zoey Blevins and her family who came out to enjoy the movie.
