Police: Man Cut After Confronting Pickpocketer

 A man suffered a cut to his upper torso when he confronted another man who police said pickpocketed him in downtown Lexington.
 Police were called to 120 North Limestone at 10:24 p.m. after someone reported a man had been stabbed.
 When they arrived, they found a 39-year-old man with a laceration to his upper torso.
 The victim was taken to the University of Kentucky hospital where police said he was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
 With the help of witnesses, police said they were able to track down the suspect, Xavier Boone.
 Police said they were able to determine that Boone, 27, pickpocketed the man then assaulted and cut him when the victim fought back.
 Boone is charged with assault and tampering with physical evidence.
