Troubling New Study About Kentucky Smokers

According to the state health commissioner, the average smoker spent more than $2,000 on cigarettes in 2012. The commissioner said the money was used buy nearly 500 packs of cigarettes on average.

Researchers said more than 24% of pregnant women in Kentucky smoked in 2012, and more than 6,000 minors started smoking.
