Teenager killed in Boyle County crash
BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- One person died in a car accident in Boyle County early Saturday morning. The Boyle County Coroner says 16-year-old Douglas Hadding died after the crash just before 5 A.M.
According to State Police, troopers found a Chevy Impala was traveling east on Kentucky 52 when the car drove off the road and hit a concrete bridge barrier before stopping in the middle of the road. Troopers say that crash ejected Hadding from the car.
The Coroner pronounced him dead on scene while four other kids in the car were taken to UK hospital.
KSP says none of the five kids in the car were wearing a seat belt, nor did any of them have driver’s licenses.
There was also a second minor crash. A truck pulling a boat tried to stop when the driver saw the Impala, but could not and hit the car.
