Lexington mayor declares Friday ‘Blue-White Day’

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The mayor of Lexington has declares Friday ‘Blue-White Day’ and is urging citizens to wear blue and white. He says that this is to support Cats in 2017 NCAA Tournament Regional round, which UK is hosting at Cliff Hagan Stadium.

“This has been an outstanding year for UK baseball,” Gray said. “Let’s cheer them on this weekend. UK fans bleed blue 365 days a year. Let’s show that spirit on Friday.”
