Car hits apartment building in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Fire Department says a car hit Double Tree Apartments off Eastland Parkway Wednesday afternoon.

No one was at home at the time and the driver of the vehicle was not injured, according to authorities.

The fire department says it was a bearing wall so they are inspecting it to make sure it doesn’t collapse.

No word on why the driver hit the building.
