Grand Rivers man facing rape charges

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- State Police in Livingston County have arrested a man charged with rape.

Troopers say 72-year-old Lester Carender Jr. from Grand Rivers, Kentucky had sex with a minor several times between 2014 and 2017.

KSP conducted a four month investigation. In April, they searched Carender’s home and found marijuana and several guns.

Carender now faces charges for those finds as well as for rape and sodomy.
