UPDATE: Suspects in Frankfort kidnapping case arrested

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are reporting that 3 suspects have been arrested in connection to a kidnapping case in Franklin County.

24-year-old Steven Miller of Frankfort, 31-year-old Erica Morrison, also of Frankfort, and 22-year-old Corey Mcarter of Stamping Ground were reported arrested Thursday moring.

Police say a fourth person connected to the case is already in jail.

Kentucky State Police say the suspects went to a woman’s house back on April 28th, in order to get money the woman allegedly owed them.  When the woman couldn’t provide it, the group reportedly took her from the home against her will, and drove to several locations in an attempt to get the money.

The woman was eventually able to gather the money, at which point the group released her with minor injuries.

Three wanted in connection to Franklin County kidnapping

Kentucky State Police are asking for your help in finding three suspects wanted in connection to a kidnapping that happened in Franklin County in April.

KSP say they are looking for two men and a woman they say face kidnapping and assault charges.

Investigators say they are looking for 24-year-old Steven Miller of Frankfort, 31-year-old Erica Morrison, also of Frankfort, and 22-year-old Corey Mcarter of Stamping Ground.

Police say a fourth person involved is already in jail.

According to troopers, back on April 28th the suspects went to a woman’s house with a gun to get back $100 they say was owed to them.

The victim did not have the money so police say she was held against her will and taken to a family members house then an ATM and finally to a Walmart in Lawrenceburg to get the money where police say she was then released with minor injuries.

“After interviewing her and interviewing some of the other people that witnessed what was going on they went to grand jury and received the kidnapping charges, the wanton endangerment charges and the charges that you see on our wanted Wednesday Facebook page,” said Trooper Bernie Napier, with Kentucky State Police.

Miller and Mcarter were arrested on that day back in April on different charges.

They both posted bond and now police say those two along with Morrison are wanted for kidnapping.

Troopers say they are searching for the three and believe they are somewhere in or near Franklin County.
