UPDATE: 17-year-old boy fatally shot in Bardstown, 4 arrested

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (AP/WHAS11) — Police in central Kentucky have arrested four people in connection with the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy.

Bardstown Police Chief Steve Uram told WHAS11 17-year-old Cameron Wes Williamson met Alexis Gribbins and Damon Murphy on Instagram to set up a marijuana buy on Monday.

WHAS11 says Gribbins and Murphy picked up Williamson and drove him to a business, where Torique Shawne Griffin and Shonontay Jemare Adams met them.

According to investigators, Griffin and Adams opened the car door and attempted to rob Williamson.

Williamson was then shot in the chest.

Police say Gribbins and Murphy then drove Williamson to a gas station about a half-mile away and called for help.

Police said Adams was charged with murder and first-degree robbery. Aleyis Paige Gribbins, Torique Shawne Griffin and Damion Paul Murphy were charged with complicity to murder, and Gribbins and Murphy were also charged with first-degree robbery.
