Recent Woodford graduate dies in Scott County wreck

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Scott County Coroner says 18-year-old Jackson Neil Paris from Versailles died early Saturday morning in a crash on Stone Road West of Georgetown.

Coroner John Goble says Paris died on impact when he crashed through a fence. Goble says he is not sure what caused the crash, but he is not considering alcohol or speeding as factors.

He adds Paris is the second senior from Woodford County High to die within two weeks.
