The Legacy Ball

Carla Jackson tells Meteorologist Eric Burke about the upcoming Legacy Ball, happening on May 5th, that will benefit local charities and scholarships for African-American students who aspire to pursue equine education.

The event will be held at the Woodford Reserve Club in the University of Kentucky Commonwealth Stadium.

Attendees will enjoy dancing, entertainment, cocktails and simulated horse race wagering. The event will also feature a historical exhibit of African-American racing pioneers; created by renowned equine expert, and author of “The Prince of Jockeys”, Pellom McDaniels.
