UPDATE: Suspects in Lexington kidnapping and robbery indicted

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- The men involved in a bizarre case of kidnapping and robbery at a Lexington home have been indicted.

Court clerks in Lexington say John Cooper, Zachary Costin, and Ethan Hatfield were all indicted on charges of kidnapping, robbery, and assault. In addition, Costin and another man, Andrew Ward have been indicted on a charge of conspiracy to traffic marijuana.

Clerks say the indictment says “one or more persons traveled to Colorado to obtain the marijuana.”

Back in February, we first reported the men held a victim against his will at Hatfield’s home, beat him, then robbed him before releasing him, naked.

Court documents say he was beaten with a firearm and a hammer while threatening to kill him.
