Police investigate Speedway robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police are investigating an early-morning robbery at a Speedway.

Police say two men came into the Speedway on Liberty Road at 2:50 a.m. Wednesday with their hands in their jacket pockets.

The clerk told police the men started yelling at her to give them money from the register.

She says she feared they would use force against her, so she gave them the money.

Police believe the men ran off toward a nearby apartment complex.
