One injured after Lexington shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Lexington are investigating a shooting that happened in the middle of the day Wednesday near Coolavin Park.

Officers say the victim, a man, was shot in the leg and ran to West Sixth Street around one thirty.

The man may have been shot during a robbery near the railroad tracks behind the Coolavin Apartments, according to police.

No names are being release, nor is the victim’s approximate age.

Police say the victim is not being cooperative.
