Police: Rafferty’s manager stabbed by a non-paying customer

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) – A customer at a Louisville restaurant has been arrested after authorities say he stabbed the manager during an argument over a bill.

News outlets report 23-year-old Caleb Fast was arrested and charged on Saturday with second-degree assault after he stabbed the manager of a Rafferty’s restaurant in the back. The unidentified manager was transported to the hospital for his injuries.

According to the citation, when Fast’s credit card was declined he attempted to leave the establishment without paying. As Fast tried to exit the restaurant the manager confronted him, at which time Fast stabbed him.

Police arrested Fast at the restaurant. He is being held on a $5,000 bond.

It’s unclear if Fast has an attorney.
