More Than Two Dozen Donate Hair To “Kaitlyn’s Kourage”
More than 1,500 inches of hair are being donated to "Children with Hair Loss" following an event Sunday called "Kaitlyn’s Kourage."
The event is named for Kaitlyn Palumbo, an 11-year-old who is bald because of alopecia.
Thirty people cut off their hair during the event.
The hair will be shipped out and made into wigs for children who need them for medical reasons but can’t afford them.
