Golden Alert issued for Lexington teen

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Police Department has issued a Golden Alert for a missing teenager with a mental disability.

Fiston Mpaka, 17, has been missing since approximately 10 a.m. Sunday when he left his home on Centre Parkway.

Family members say Fiston has a severe mental disability and could be very disoriented.

Fiston is described as a 5’9″, around 155 pounds, wearing a blue plaid long-sleeve shirt, jeans, and brown boots.

According to family members, Fiston enjoys riding the bus.

Anyone with information about Fiston’s whereabouts is asked to contact Lexington Police at (859) 258-3600 or 911.
