Fire destroys house in Scott County

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – An early-morning fire in Scott County burns a home to the ground.

Firefighters were called to Lyle Road at around 1:30 a.m. on Friday.

When they arrived, they found a home engulfed in flames.

Firefighters say the home is abandoned.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
