Director/Founder of the Bluegrass Youth Ballet, Adalhi Aranda, and dancer Lilia Thomas come to the studio to tell Katie Solove all about their upcoming production of The Little Mermaid.

Narrated in English and Spanish, audiences will love this choreographed interpretation of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic story about a mermaid that longs to be human.  Cast with over 130 dancers, don’t miss the wonderful love story, with a special BYB “twist” at the end.

Bluegrass Youth Ballet is a non-profit organization in Lexington, KY since 2003. Bluegrass Youth Ballet engages and inspires youth by providing access to the art of dance throughout our community.

Performances will be held Friday, March 31st at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 1st at 2:00 p.m. at the Lexington Opera House.
