One dead after McCreary Co. house fire

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say a man is dead after a house fire broke out just after midnight Saturday morning in the Pine Knot community of McCreary County.

Troopers say 63-year-old William C. South was found dead in the home on Walnut Lane by the Pine Knot Fire Department.

The cause of the fire has not been determined, however, investigators do not suspect foul play.

Kentucky State Police are continuing their investigation.
